Zarina Imayakova

Zarina Imayakova was born in 1996 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. She began her education at the age of 5. After graduating from the special music school for the gifted in Almaty, she continued her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. She studies in the class of. Prof .A. Soumm. Zarina is a prize winner of many republican and international competitions.

Since 2015 she has worked and she has worked with the greatest artists, such as Quatuor Ébène, Eberhard Feltz, Oliver Wille, Günter Pichler, et al. Zarina has also worked with Reinhard Latzko,
Jasmina Stancul, Boris Bloch, etc.

In 2018 she was academician at the summer academy of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and also a substitute with the Lower Bavarian Philharmonic Orchestra.

Since October 2022 she has a contract as second voice leader with the Orchestra of the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien.
